Hi, I'm Joe!

I am a current senior BFA musical theatre major at Texas State University. My love for theatre began in 7th grade when I played Jojo in Suessical Jr. Ever since then, theatre has become my passion. As an artist, I  hope to advocate for the change I want to see. My approach in life and this craft is guided by the curiosity, joy, fearlessness, humility, and determination that I have been surrounded by my whole life. I also advocate for the Latinx community and will continue to fight for our place at the table, especially in uncertain times.

Outside of the theatre, I enjoy spending time with loved ones. I love to read, cook, and collect records in my free time. Reading has become a new favorite hobby of mine because it allows me to step into experiences that differ from my own. I love to laugh and tell jokes; I believe that if you are not laughing, then you are not living.
